Air India, AI Express suspend Saudi flights until November 14

Air India and Air India Express have extended the suspension of flights to Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam until November 14, 2026, amid security concerns in the region.
The airlines announced the extension on Friday, October 30, saying the suspension, initially scheduled to end on November 7, would now remain in place until November 14 (inclusive).
The extension comes amid concerns over drone and missile strikes targeting Saudi airports, energy installations and other critical infrastructure. Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi group has been involved in a prolonged campaign against Saudi Arabia.
Due to the prevailing situation in the region, Air India and Air India Express flights to and from Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam will remain suspended until 14 November 2026 (inclusive).
