Logistics company Delhivery reported a net profit of Rs 40.63 crore during the second quarter of FY27, compared to a loss of Rs 50.49 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year. Revenue rose 19.8% to Rs 3,066.38 crore from Rs 2,559.3 crore in the year-ago period.

Delhivery, in a statement, said it could register a strong performance despite the pressure of inflation.

Express parcel volume recorded a 32% YoY growth touching 325 million shipments for the second quarter. The part truck load segment recorded a 14% YoY growth.

The logistics company said its new businesses are ramping up faster than originally planned.

Delhivery Local, an on-demand, intracity logistics and courier service, is now live across eight cities and is on track to exceed its previous guidance of an annual revenue run rate of Rs 250 crore by Q4FY27, along with improved contribution margins.

Financial Service has also begun early monetisation of its vendor ecosystem, and is developing co-lending partnerships to broaden financial access to vendor partners through an asset-light approach, the company said.

Delhivery said early investments in AI are beginning to bear fruit, with improved sales productivity and customer onboarding and faster resolution of claims and disputes and fraud detection.

Delhivery Robotics, an inhouse automation lab, has commenced production of customised autonomous vehicles for in-facility movement operations. It has also begun testing robotics systems across under-the-roof operations, in partnership with global leaders in the physical AI domain.

Delhivery expressed confidence going into the second half of the fiscal year, despite a volatile macro environment due to rising fuel prices, labour availability issues, and multiple statutory changes. It said its network service levels heading into the festive season have been the best, with improved profitability.
