Cyberabad unveils data-backed mobility roadmap to ease IT corridor congestion

Hyderabad: To resolve traffic issues in Cyberabad’s IT corridor, the Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) and the Cyberabad Traffic Police have jointly rolled out a comprehensive, data-backed transport mobility roadmap.
Top brass from CMC, Cyberabad Traffic Police, the Society for Cyberabad Security Council, TGSRTC and other key government agencies on Friday jointly released the ‘Cyberabad Moves 2026’ poster. They are also organising a three-day conference at the IT Hub from November 26 to 28, inviting transport experts from across the world.
A high-level collaborative framework chaired by Cyberabad Police Commissioner Dr M Ramesh and CMC Commissioner G Srijana aims to overhaul junction designs, prioritise last-mile connectivity and integrate multimodal transit to create future-ready corridors in the IT hub.
Cyberabad Police Commissioner later spoke to the media and said, “The immediate roadmap centres on a proposed continuous One-Way Loop system to eliminate four major bottleneck junctions along the HiTech City-Biodiversity belt. Under the plan, the entire width of existing roads will be converted into a single-direction transit channel. All key government agencies are studying this one-way loop system, and then the implementation will be announced officially.”
