Bullied for Her Birthmark, Now a Miss India Finalist

“Nobody can love that face.” Today, she’s a finalist in Miss India Uttar Pradesh. ❤️

Born with a port-wine stain on her face, she grew up facing stares, cruel comments and bullying. At school, children told her she was weird and refused to sit with her.

The hurt followed her everywhere. She began skipping school, avoiding photographs and hiding from people. There was a time when she couldn't even look at herself in the mirror. Then her sister encouraged her to do something that terrified her: stand in front of a camera.

With her sister by her side, she slowly began creating content and exploring modelling. Even when online trolls called her ugly, she stopped trying to fit into someone else's definition of beauty. The girl who once avoided cameras is now a Miss India Uttar Pradesh finalist and has won the People's Choice Award.

Today, people reach out to tell her that her journey has helped them embrace themselves. She isn't celebrated because she overcame a visible difference. She's celebrated because she refused to let prejudice decide how much space she deserved to take up.

Her face was never something to be ashamed of. And now, she wants others to know that they never have to hide theirs either. ❤️
