BJP Campaign: “Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy” March to Continue Across States

Image: ABP Live

The BJP’s “Save Democracy, Remove Anarchy” march is set to continue across several locations, with the party targeting what it describes as Congress’s misleading propaganda over the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to lead a march in Hyderabad at 3 PM, travelling from the Swami Vivekananda statue at Tank Bund to the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar statue. BJP President Nitin Nabin is also scheduled to participate in marches, first in Bhagalpur, Bihar, at 11 AM and later in Kolkata, West Bengal, at 3 PM. Preparations for these programmes have reportedly been completed. Meanwhile, slogans heard during the political mobilisation included calls to unite, fight together and protect the Constitution. Participants also raised slogans targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and demanding a change in government, linking their political message to the preservation of democracy. The BJP’s march is part of its wider campaign against the Congress-led opposition’s allegations and criticism surrounding the CAA. The programmes are expected to bring the party’s campaign onto the streets in multiple states.
