Nora Fatehi Fails To Appear In Sukesh Chandrashekhar Case, Delhi Court Summons Her For Nov 6

The hearing in the Rs 200 crore extortion case linked to Sukesh Chandrashekhar was adjourned at the Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi after Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi failed to appear before it on the scheduled date.
The court issued a fresh summons directing Nora to appear on November 6 to testify as a prosecution witness. The next hearing in the matter is scheduled for the same date.
Nora’s lawyer sought an exemption from her appearance on Monday. However, the court expressed displeasure over the request, observing that the court could not be taken lightly.
Delhi Police informed the court that they had no information about whether Nora would appear for the hearing. The police stated that a notice had been served to her on October 22 via email and WhatsApp. They also said that attempts had been made to contact her over the phone, but no response was received from her side.
Nora was scheduled to appear before the Rouse Avenue Court as a prosecution witness in the case. She has been named as a witness in the third supplementary chargesheet filed in connection with the extortion case.
During the previous hearing, the court had directed Nora to appear before it on November 2.
