The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is reportedly preparing to file its first chargesheet in the Jauhar University money laundering case, potentially increasing the legal troubles of Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan. According to information cited from ED sources, the agency has accelerated its investigation following Azam Khan's arrest and subsequent questioning. The investigating agency claims to have gathered evidence suggesting the alleged misuse of government funds and the diversion of money received from contractors into the Jauhar Trust. The ED is reportedly compiling evidence collected during earlier questioning, including statements and information obtained while investigating the case in Rampur. According to the report, the investigation could expand further, with the possibility of additional arrests involving contractors and others allegedly linked to the financial transactions. The agency is expected to submit its chargesheet soon, although the precise filing date and the final list of accused have not been confirmed. The case remains under investigation, and the allegations will be subject to legal proceedings.
