Telangana ACB raids GHMC official’s house in Suryapet

Hyderabad: The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Tuesday, November 3, raided the house of a Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) assistant director in Suryapet.

The raid was conducted at the residence of Assistant Director N Yadagiri Rao in connection with a case booked against him. Simultaneous raids were also carried out at the houses of Rao’s relatives.

Employees of the municipal, police, revenue and irrigation departments have earlier been caught by the ACB, either in bribe cases or for allegedly amassing disproportionate assets. The ACB is cracking down on tainted officers based on complaints received against them.
