Hyderabad: Parents can now access their wards’ performance in the Summative Assessment (SA) examinations through WhatsApp.

In a student-friendly initiative, the School Education Department on Tuesday announced the launch of a facility that enables parents of government school students to access their children’s Summative Assessment-I (SA-I) examination progress cards through WhatsApp.

School Education Department Director Dr E Naveen Nicolas urged parents to utilise the WhatsApp facility to stay informed about their children’s academic progress.

Further, Dr Nicolas directed private management schools across the State to ensure regular, accurate and timely updating of student-wise and teacher-wise attendance details in the Integrated School Management System (ISMS) Portal.

Private schools have been instructed to update the pending attendance details for June, July, August and September 2026. Further, attendance details for every month must be updated in the ISMS Portal by the 1st of the succeeding month without fail.

The Director instructed DEOs to monitor compliance by private management schools under their jurisdiction and ensure that the pending data is updated without delay.
