Aspiring actress found dead in Alwal, police probe circumstances
Hyderabad: A 21-year-old aspiring actress from Andhra Pradesh allegedly died by suicide at Alwal after her uncle objected to her attending film shoots.
The victim, Madhulika, had moved to Hyderabad with dreams of making a career in films.
As per information available, her father had died when she was young, while her mother is currently in Qatar. She had been staying with her paternal uncle, Govardhan.
According to reports, Madhulika regularly attended film shoots in Krishna Nagar. She reportedly became distressed after her uncle reprimanded her and asked her to stop going to shoots.
She ended her life by hanging herself from the ceiling fan in her room.
The Alwal police registered a case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding her death, including other possible reasons.
