Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is set to inaugurate Tammidikunta in Madhapur on November 11. The water body, which had been reduced to 16.2 acre, has been revived by Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA) and now spans 29.3 acre.

Serilingampally MLA Arekapudi Gandhi inspected the beautification works along with HYDRAA Commissioner AV Ranganath on Saturday, November 7.

Surroundings of Shilparamam, which would easily be flooded in rains, will not face the problem anymore thanks to Tammidikunta pond inlets, the MLA noted.

He also inspected the sports equipment and pathway built around the pond.
