Hyderabad man kills 2-yr-old daughter, dies by suicide with wife
Hyderabad: A 31-year-old man allegedly killed his two-year-old daughter before he and his wife died by “suicide” by hanging here, police said on Tuesday, October 27.
The man, a native of West Bengal who worked as a chef, was residing in a locality under the limits of the KPHB police station.
According to preliminary information, he allegedly killed his daughter, and later the couple died by “suicide” by hanging, a police official said. The suicide note purportedly written by the couple was found, police said.
Local media, which identified the couple as Gopinath and Samata, reported that they were facing financial difficulties. Their purported suicide note, written on a wall, is also being shared on social media.
The exact circumstances and reasons were not yet known, they said. Further investigation is underway.
