Hyderabad: Man who worked on film sets found dead in Madhuranagar

Hyderabad: A 30-year-old man who worked on movie sets was found dead in a room in Madhuranagar, Hyderabad, on Wednesday, October 28.

The deceased, who is identified as U Swamy, hailed from Nipani village in Bhimpur Mandal, Adilabad.

As per the information, Swamy had attended a gathering with friends in the same room in LN Nagar on Sunday, October 25. Police suspect that an argument may have occurred during the gathering.

The case came to light after a foul smell began coming from the room.

Speaking to Siasat.com, Madhurnagar SHO Prabhakar said Swamy was a ‘labourer’ on movie sets. He lived with around four people in the rented accommodation. Like Swamy, his roommates were also from Adilabad.

He said the body had blunt-force injuries to the neck. A case has been registered under Sections 103 (murder), 228 (fabricating false evidence) of the BNS.
