HMWSSB seizes 13 unauthorised motors in Shamshabad zone

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) on Wednesday, October 28, seized 13 unauthorised motors connected directly to drinking water pipelines in Shamshabad zone.

Starting at 11 am, an HMWSSB vigilance team held special inspections at RB Nagar in Kotwalguda ward, under Division 8.

The Water Board said that installing motors on drinking water pipelines could disrupt network pressure, leaving other consumers with an inadequate water supply.

The HMWSSB said such operations will continue to put a check on the use of illegal motors.
