Hyderabad: Cyberabad Municipal Corporation (CMC) officials have proposed widening the road between Gajularamam and Mahadevapuram junction to ease traffic congestion.

CMC Commissioner G Srijana and engineering officials inspected the proposed route on Thursday. A cement concrete road from Mahadevapuram junction to Sikh Basthi in Allwyn Colony was also proposed.

Srijana asked officials to coordinate with the respective departments and promptly address bottlenecks. She directed the engineering wing to complete the cement concrete road at the earliest and asked the town planning wing to identify and clear encroachments along the stretch.

Officials were also instructed to expedite drain work, shift electrical poles at the earliest and begin road-widening work without further delay.
