Abdul El Sayed Makes First Public Appearance Amid Haley Stevens Spat | US Midterms | Michigan | N18G

Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed accused his former primary rival, Rep. Haley Stevens, of trying to relitigate their race, hours after she demanded he apologize for his remarks about Israel. The public clash came two days before the two were set to campaign together in Detroit. Stevens said she accepted an invitation to join El-Sayed at a get-out-the-vote event, but laid out what she expects from El-Sayed, calling on him to apologize for blaming Israel on the high cost of healthcare.
