Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi slammed the ruling BJP for obstructing peaceful opposition protests and defending the Chief Election Commissioner. Speaking on the INDIA bloc’s mock impeachment of CEC Gyanesh Kumar over Special Summary Revision (SIR) concerns, Chaturvedi stressed that defending citizens' voting rights is the opposition's democratic duty. She also questioned the central government's inconsistent stance regarding diplomatic invitations to Pakistan.
