Congress leader Rahul Gandhi urged Delhi traders to tell PM Narendra Modi to sack Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, promising that protests would stop within 30 seconds once Modi removes him. His remarks followed a request from the Chamber of Trade and Industry to postpone the INDIA bloc's November 1 rally at Ramlila Maidan to prevent massive festive business losses ahead of Diwali.
