Banjara Hills gym trainer booked over alleged sexual assault of minor girl
Hyderabad: The Banjara Hills police have booked a gym trainer for allegedly sexually assaulting a minor girl after promising to marry her.
According to a complaint lodged by the girl’s mother, the suspect, identified as Mallela Ravi, was working as a fitness trainer at a popular gym on Banjara Hills Road No. 12.
The girl joined the gym in June 2025, when she was a minor. The trainer allegedly developed a relationship with her, behaved inappropriately and sexually assaulted her on multiple occasions after promising to marry her.
The girl’s mother approached the Madhuranagar police on Thursday and lodged a complaint detailing the alleged abuse.
The Madhuranagar police initially registered a Zero FIR under the provisions of the POCSO Act and subsequently transferred the case to the Banjara Hills police station for further investigation.
