Hyderabad: The Golconda police, in a joint operation with the commissioner’s task force, conducted a raid on a brothel and apprehended three individuals while rescuing the victim.

Police arrested the organiser, sub-organiser and the customer from the premises and seized an unused and used condom as well as four mobile phones.

The accused organisers were identified as Farha Begum, wife of Mohammad Gaffar and Farheen, wife of Mohammad Mastan. The 32-year-old and 25-year-old were procuring women by inducing them with large sums of money, police said.

They reportedly accommodated the victims in the Golconda area, subsequently arranging male customers, and collecting money from them in return for permitting them to have sex with the women.

The officials said during the operation the victim was found and rescued from the said premises. The customer, Fayaz Alam, aged 32 was also arrested.

The case has been registered under Sections 143(2) (human trafficking) and 144(2) (exploitation of a trafficked person) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. The accused were booked under Sections 3, 4, and 5 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act at Golconda police station.
