Bigg Boss 20: Who does Hyderabad want to see lifting the trophy?

Bigg Boss’ popularity is known for all and the Hindi version of the reality show has always enjoyed a loyal fan base in Hyderabad. Over the years, several contestants have also won hearts beyond the show, keeping viewers hooked to every season.
And this season is no different. Whether they live in Hyderabad or have moved elsewhere, the city’s Bigg Boss enthusiasts never miss a chance to debate, pick sides and passionately root for their favourite housemates. In previous seasons, the show has also featured several familiar faces with connections to Hyderabad, keeping the city’s interest alive.
Who are the contestants left in Bigg Boss 20?
The season premiered on September 6, 2026, with 16 contestants. Following several exits and the entry of wildcard contestants, 12 housemates are currently competing for the trophy.
The remaining contestants are Aamrapali Dubey, Aasif Khan, Arishfa Khan, Gullu (Kushal Tanwar), Kanika Mann, Love Gill, Mahhi Vij, Manish Goel, Qazi Touqeer, ScoutOP (Tanmay Singh), Uditi Singh and Yung DSA.
The journey so far has been anything but uneventful. From heated confrontations and shifting friendships to captaincy battles and emotional moments, the contestants have given viewers plenty to discuss.
But who does Hyderabad want to see lifting the trophy? Siasat.com spoke to several avid viewers of the season and here’s what we found.
As expected, Qazi Touqeer is stealing the show!
Qazi Touqeer, who became a household name after winning Fame Gurukul in 2005, has once again found himself in the spotlight. His lively personality, spontaneous reactions and dance performances have made him one of the season’s most talked-about housemates since day 1. His return to reality television after more than two decades has also brought back memories for viewers who supported him during his earlier stint. He has received appreciation from celebrities and fellow contestants, too.
Speaking to Siasat.com, one viewer said, “Qazi is a complete entertainer. One moment he is singing, the next moment he comes up with a one-liner that makes us laugh. He does not even have to try too hard to entertain people. I really want to see him in the finale and win the trophy.”

Another viewer said, “I have been a Qazi Touqeer fan since his Fame Gurukul days. Watching him on Bigg Boss brings back so many memories of the 2000s. It feels nostalgic to see him back on our screens, and I really want him to reach the finale and win the trophy.”

For these viewers, Qazi’s natural charm and ability to entertain without forcing it are among his biggest strengths. His supporters are hoping to see their favourite make it to the finale and take home the trophy.
“Honestly, I wait for Qazi’s moments in every episode. All I want to say is he deserves to be a finalist,” another viewer added.
Interestingly, in the survey we conducted over the past two weeks, more than 75% of the respondents named Qazi Touqeer as their favourite contestant. The overwhelming response makes it clear that Qazi enjoys a massive fan following among Bigg Boss viewers in Hyderabad.
Gullu, Mahhi Vij and Yung DSA have their fans too

While Qazi leads the race among respondents, Gullu (Kushal Tanwar) and Mahhi Vij have also received votes from viewers who appreciate their strong personalities and gameplay. Yung DSA is another name that found support in the survey.
Gullu, also known as Kushal Tanwar, has emerged as another contestant drawing attention amid the house’s frequent confrontations. His physical altercation with wildcard entrant Nakul Dhull became one of the season’s major talking points, ultimately leading to Nakul’s exit from the show.
One Gullu supporter said, “I’m supporting Gullu because he’s 100% real. He doesn’t fake his personality for the cameras, and he’s super clear about who his actual friends and enemies are in the house.”
Mahhi Vij, too, has her share of admirers. A supporter said, “Mahhi is strong-minded and knows how to put her point across. I want her to go all the way and win the show.”

However, not everyone is taking the contestants and their on-screen antics seriously. One viewer offered a rather blunt take on the season’s drama, saying, “Half the time these housemates are just creating fake drama for footage. Honest answer? None of them are worth taking seriously.”
One respondent, however, said his interest in the season had ended almost as quickly as his favourite contestant’s journey began. He had been rooting for Nakul Dhull after the latter entered the house as a wildcard contestant, but stopped watching after Nakul was evicted following his physical altercation with Gullu.
“Even got my JioHotstar subscription refund,” he said.

His reaction reflects how strongly viewers can connect with individual contestants, with some even reconsidering their interest in the entire season when their favourite leaves the house.
Bigg Boss 20 grand finale expected in December
With 12 contestants still in the race, the coming weeks will be crucial. Friendships could change, new rivalries may emerge, and the contestants who have remained under the radar could still surprise viewers.
The grand finale is expected to take place in December, although the makers are yet to officially announce the date. A report has suggested December 20, 2026, as a possible date for the finale.
Until then, the battle for audience support is very much on.
