BJP Criticism: Opposition Leader Questions BJP’s Moral Authority

A political leader criticised the BJP, claiming that it had lost the moral authority to speak on issues of ethics. Referring to letters reportedly sent by traders to Congress leaders, including Sonia Gandhi, the speaker alleged that some traders may have been pressured through investigative agencies and suggested that they might privately support the Opposition’s movement. These claims were presented as the speaker’s allegations and were not independently established in the report. Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party leader Dharmendra Yadav and other Opposition leaders were among those present in Delhi ahead of the INDIA alliance rally. ABP News reported from the Minto Road intersection, where preparations for the proposed march were underway. Flags of the Congress, Samajwadi Party, Left parties and RJD were visible, reflecting the alliance’s effort to project a united front. According to the reporter, leaders were expected to assemble at three locations: Mallikarjun Kharge’s residence, Constitution Club and the Congress headquarters. They were then expected to reach Minto Bridge around 11:30 AM before proceeding towards Ramlila Maidan, approximately 2–2.5 kilometres away.
