Sangareddy: Accusing the RTC drivers of not stopping buses at Andole bus station, commuters staged a rasta-roko on the busy NH-161 in Andole town on Monday. Irked over the buses proceeding either side without halting here, the commuters staged a sit-in. Even though Andole had nearly 10,000 population and neighbouring villagers also arrived at the bus station to catch the buses, the commuters accused the drivers of ignoring the stop and they raised slogans against the RTC regional manager.

They demanded that the Health Minister and local MLA Damodara Rajanarasimha look into their issues and address the issue. Due to the ignorance of the RTC drivers, the commuters said that the students could not attend the schools and colleges in time while the employees were finding it difficult to reach the office on time. Meanwhile, the police who reached the place pursuaded the commuters to withdraw the protest assuring them to take the issue to the notice of the RTC officials.
