Mahhi Vij hints at quitting Bigg Boss 20: I won’t continue

Mumbai: Being inside the Bigg Boss house for weeks can take an emotional toll on contestants. While some manage to keep their calm amid constant arguments and tasks, others reach a breaking point when personal emotions and family matters come into the picture. And it looks like Mahhi Vij has reached one such point in Bigg Boss 20.

The latest episode of the Salman Khan-hosted reality show turned emotional as contestants received messages and photographs from their family members. However, what was meant to be a special moment soon turned into an intense confrontation, with Mahhi even threatening to quit the show.

Mahhi Vij gets emotional after Love Gill’s mother calls her out

On Tuesday’s episode, Bigg Boss announced a special task in which contestants had to dance on a disc-like stage. They were then given a choice to either secure a lifeline by destroying another contestant’s family photograph and message or sacrifice their own lifeline to let the contestant receive the message.

During the family message segment, Love Gill’s mother called out Mahhi over some remarks she had allegedly made about her daughter. She reminded the actress that she too has a daughter and should think before making such comments.

The confrontation was connected to Mahhi’s earlier conversation with Arishfa Khan during the Love Gill-ScoutOP-Kaashvi controversy.

At the time, Mahhi had criticised Love for continuing to seek Scout’s attention despite his girlfriend Kaashvi allegedly insulting her during her appearance on the show.

Mahhi had reportedly told Arishfa that she could have said much more about Love but chose not to because Scout was involved.

However, Love’s mother brought up the remark during the family segment and even repeated Mahhi’s alleged comment in Punjabi.

Mahhi Vij threatens to quit Bigg Boss 20

While Mahhi firmly denied making the comment, the incident appeared to affect her deeply. After the task, the actress broke down while speaking to Uditi Singh and Arishfa Khan.

She also expressed her disappointment with the makers, alleging that her comments were being selectively shown and that she was being targeted.

“I am just feeling that they are only showing my comments. If this is the scene, I will not continue on the show. I don’t even want the money; they can go to hell,” Mahhi said.

The actress further spoke about how difficult the situation had become for her, especially with her family watching the show from outside.

“I feel so heavy. Why are they targeting me for everything? I also have a family outside who are watching. Everyone talks here and makes comments; they say things more than I do. I am not here to spoil my name like this; I can’t continue like this,” she added.

Bigg Boss 20’s top 11 contestants

For the unversed, Mahhi Vij is currently among the 11 contestants remaining in Bigg Boss 20. With the show heading towards its grand finale, reportedly scheduled for around December 20, the competition is getting tougher.

However, Mahhi’s emotional breakdown and threat to leave the show have now become one of the major talking points among viewers. Whether she will reconsider her decision and continue her journey remains to be seen.
