Srinagar- The dissident group of National Conference MLAs is likely to meet the party top brass on Friday in Srinagar.

News agency KNO quoting sources reported that all dissident MLAs are likely to meet the NC leadership on Friday morning in Srinagar. It could not be confirmed whether they would meet Dr. Farooq Abdullah or Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.

The National Conference is facing dissidence over the recent cabinet expansion-cum-reshuffle, with as many as two dozen legislators upset over the move.

The legislators have held three separate meetings in Srinagar over the past week. They have also submitted a memorandum to the party high command seeking a cabinet reshuffle.
