Nykaa's PAT soars 206% in Q2FY27 as beauty, quick commerce arm deliver strong performance

Omnichannel beauty and fashion retailer Nykaa has reported a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 101 crore, up 206% in Q2 of FY27 compared with Rs 33 crore a year ago.
Nykaa, which is operated by FSN E-Commerce Ventures, reported Rs. 3,006 crore in revenue from operations, an increase of 28% YoY.
Its beauty vertical continued to drive the bulk of its business, with a gross merchandise value (GMV) at Rs. 4,454 crore. Meanwhile, its fashion revenue increased 42.9% YoY to Rs 287.2 crore.
House of Nykaa clocked an annualised GMV run rate of Rs. 4,000 crore, and Rs. 2,300 crore annualised NSV for Q2 FY2027, which is a 36% YoY NSV growth. On the other hand, Superstore by Nykaa has clocked a gross merchandise value (GMV) of Rs 328 crore, and its registered retailer base grew 27% YoY to over 550,000. Net Sales Value or NSV is the actual realised value of goods after the platform accounts for discounts, cancellations, returned items and taxes.
“Our performance this quarter reflects the strength of the Nykaa ecosystem, with each of our businesses contributing to growth and productivity gains. We continued to improve operational efficiency, particularly across marketing and overheads. Beauty and Fashion are seeing accelerated growth, while House of Nykaa and Wellness offer significant runway for long-term growth. We remain focused on building differentiated businesses that serve our consumers and deliver sustainable growth over the long term," Falguni Nayar, executive chairperson, founder and CEO of Nykaa, said.
Nykaa also announced the acquisition of an 82% majority stake in Simply Nam, a cosmetics brand founded in 2020 by celebrity makeup artist Namrata Soni alongside Bozzil, a venture studio led by Hanna Strömgren Khan. The acquisition is expected to help Nykaa widen its premium makeup portfolio.
Nykaa also highlighted the growth of its quick delivery arm, NYKAA Now, which promises 30-to-60 minute delivery. Launched in 2025, the service is available in 15 cities and the company hopes to expand this number to 25 by end of FY2027. Nykaa noted that the vertical offers over 1,000 marquee brands and twice the beauty and personal care (BPC) catalog depth of conventional quick-commerce platforms. The wider selection is reportedly driving an average order value three times higher than typical quick commerce purchases.
Overall, the company has expanded its beauty retail footprint to 338 stores across 111 cities.
