What visitors can expect at Indian Photo Festival 2026

As India’s longest-running international photography festival, Indian Photo Festival brings world-class visual storytelling to the heart of Hyderabad. Here is what visitors and visual arts enthusiasts can look forward to during this month-long celebration:

Diverse photo exhibitions: The multi-level gallery spaces showcase print and digital series spanning hard-hitting investigative journalism, intimate documentary projects, wildlife, fine art, and contemporary portraiture.

Artist talks and masterclasses: Attendees can engage directly with world-renowned photojournalists, regional creators, and documentary filmmakers through interactive panel discussions, portfolio reviews, and photobook launches.

Hands-on workshops and screenings: From tactile alternative printing methods, such as darkroom techniques and cyanotype printing, to evening documentary film screenings, the festival offers rich learning experiences for both seasoned practitioners and budding photographers.

Citywide Public Installations: Beyond the galleries, open-air photo installations, public displays, and satellite exhibitions extend the visual footprint into public urban spaces across Hyderabad.
