Mumbai: Bigg Boss 20 contestant Qazi Touqeer has been one of the most talked-about housemates of the season. However, his reduced screen time in recent weeks has left fans furious, with several viewers accusing the makers of deliberately sidelining him. Amid the growing backlash and demands for more footage of Qazi, Bigg Boss voice artist Vijay Vikram Singh has finally reacted to the controversy.

Vijay, who lends his voice to the popular reality show, has now addressed the repeated questions about Qazi’s screen time and clarified that creative decisions are not in his hands.

Vijay Vikram Singh reacts to the controversy

Taking to Instagram, Vijay Vikram Singh shared a video addressing the ongoing outrage among Bigg Boss 20 viewers. The text on his video read, “Bigg Boss is just a reality show. Please treat it like one. Stop reacting to the show as if your life depends on it. Especially on other people’s Instagram.”

In his caption, Vijay revealed that the same question about the contestant’s screen time has been repeatedly appearing on his Instagram timeline.

He wrote, “These days, the same question keeps appearing on my Instagram timeline: ‘Why is Qazi not getting enough screen time?’ I have answered this several times, but let me say it once again. I lend my voice to the show. Creative decisions, such as who gets how much screen time, are not made by me. So, please direct your opinions and questions on this matter to Colors. You can write to them through their website or official social media pages.”

He further added, “The rest is simple. This is a game show, so please watch it as one. Support your favourite contestant, enjoy the show, and do not take it so personally.”

Why are Qazi Touqeer’s fans upset?

Qazi Touqeer’s reduced screen time has sparked massive outrage among his fans, with several social media users accusing the makers of showing favouritism towards other contestants, including Kanika Mann and Mahhi Vij.

Qazi had reportedly dominated the early weeks of the season with strong audience support and significant viewer engagement. However, fans believe that the narrative has shifted towards other contestants, particularly following the much-discussed storylines involving ScoutOP and Love Gill.

Several viewers have also alleged that selective editing and reduced live-feed visibility have affected Qazi’s presence on the show. Some fans believe that his growing popularity outside the house has become a reason for the makers to limit his screen time.

The controversy has further intensified, with fans trending hashtags, demanding fair treatment and even calling for boycotts of the show.

Is Qazi Touqeer really being sidelined in Bigg Boss 20, or are fans reading too much into the show’s editing? What do you think? Comment below.
