Houthis claim drone attack on Dammam airport

Yemen’s Houthi forces have claimed responsibility for a drone attack on King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, alleging that the operation disrupted air traffic at the facility.
Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree announced the claim in a post on X on Thursday, November 5, saying the operation had achieved its objective.
Saree did not disclose the timing of the alleged strike, the type of drone used or the extent of the disruption. Saudi authorities had not immediately commented on the claim.

Houthis deny Madinah missile attack
In a separate statement, Saree rejected Saudi Arabia’s announcement that its air defence systems had intercepted a ballistic missile heading towards the Madinah region.
The Saudi-led Coalition’s spokesperson, Major General Turki Al-Maliki, had announced the interception on Thursday, saying the missile had been successfully destroyed.
Saree dismissed the announcement as false and said Houthi military operations targeted oil facilities and military bases rather than Islamic holy sites.

These developments come amid escalating tensions between the Houthis and Saudi Arabia, with both sides issuing conflicting accounts of military operations targeting or threatening the Kingdom.
