US national found dead under suspicious circumstances in hotel room in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: A 41-year-old US national was found dead in a hotel room here, police said on Friday, November 6.
The deceased was identified as Mitchell Brian Lee, a resident of California. Police said he reportedly arrived in the city on November 2 with his business partner David for a business trip. Both were staying at a hotel in Gachibowli on the 12th floor.
According to reports, Lee did not respond to phone calls since November 5. When the hotel staff entered his room to check in, he was lying on the bed in an unconscious state. The 108 ambulance service was immediately informed, and the medical staff declared that he was dead.
The Gachibowli Police have registered a case under suspicious death. The exact cause was not yet ascertained and more details will emerge based on the post-mortem report, police said.
