Hyderabad: The Malkajgiri Member of Parliament, Eatala Rajender, will launch a padayatra on Tuesday, October 27, to mobilise public support for the relocation of the Jawaharnagar dumping yard, stepping up the campaign over the long-standing concerns of residents living in and around the facility.

The padayatra will commence at 9 am from Edulabad Lakshminarayana Cheruvu. The march is intended to bring together locals and intensify the agitation demanding that the dumping yard be shifted.

The organisers have called upon people to participate in large numbers, emphasising the need for a sustained and united struggle to press for the relocation of the facility.

The call for the padayatra has been made under the banner of the campaign to save Jawaharnagar and address the concerns of people affected by the dumping yard.

The dumping yard has been a longstanding concern for residents in the surrounding areas, with demands for effective measures to address issues associated with waste disposal and its impact on nearby habitations. The padayatra is expected to provide a platform for residents to voice their concerns and renew the demand for a lasting solution.

BJP leader Rajender’s campaign seeks to step up pressure on the authorities to address the issue and respond to the demands of the affected population.
