UP News: Amit Shah to Finalise BJP’s Mission 2027 Strategy, 712 Leaders Named to UP Committee

The BJP has intensified preparations for the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections as it aims to secure a third consecutive term in power. Union Home Minister Amit Shah is expected to visit Lucknow and help shape the party’s election strategy during his visit. The BJP’s state working committee meeting is scheduled for October 30 and 31, where Shah is expected to interact with leaders from all six organisational regions and review preparations for the crucial electoral battle. According to the information shared in the report, the party will focus on strengthening booth management, identifying weak areas and addressing organisational challenges. Special attention is also expected to be given to gathering ground-level feedback through the deployment of organisational expansion coordinators across all Assembly constituencies. These coordinators will communicate local feedback directly to the party leadership. The discussions may also cover ways to address disgruntled party workers, strengthen the role of panna pramukhs and highlight government schemes and key election issues. The BJP is also planning visits by senior leaders after Diwali to build momentum ahead of the polls. According to sources cited in the report, Prime Minister Narendra Modi could make around a dozen visits to Uttar Pradesh before the Assembly election announcement, combining inaugurations and foundation-laying ceremonies for development projects with public meetings. Plans are also being prepared for visits by Amit Shah, BJP president Nitin Nabin and other senior leaders. Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh BJP president Pankaj Chaudhary has released the state working committee list, which reportedly includes around 712 leaders across different categories. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is among 30 ex-officio invitees. The committee is also intended to reflect different social groups as the BJP works to strengthen its organisational base and electoral prospects for Mission 2027.
