Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police Commissioner Dr. M. Ramesh inspected Khajaguda junction and reviewed the progress of ongoing road development works, with a focus on traffic management and public convenience during flyover construction.

The Commissioner held discussions with police, GHMC and Electricity Department officials on measures to prevent traffic disruptions in the Raidurgam area. The officials reviewed the laying of pipelines for the underpass, shifting of power lines and other technical aspects associated with the ongoing works.

Dr. Ramesh, accompanied by senior officers, also inspected the GHMC Committee Hall at Manikonda, which has been identified as a possible temporary location for the Raidurgam police station. He discussed the premises’ suitability and the arrangements needed to ensure convenient access for the public and police personnel.

The Commissioner directed officials from all departments to coordinate their efforts to ensure commuters and residents do not face inconvenience during the construction work. He stressed the need to make advance arrangements for traffic diversions, where necessary, and ensure the smooth movement of vehicles.

He also instructed the officials to expedite the arrangements for shifting the police station temporarily and take up all development-related activities in a coordinated manner, giving priority to public safety, traffic management and convenience.
