Hyderabad: The Telangana EAGLE Force on Wednesday arrested three persons for allegedly selling prohibited e-cigarettes at a shop near Niloufer Hospital in Nampally and seized six e-cigarettes, ₹1.05 lakh in cash, four mobile phones and four payment scanners.

Acting on a tip-off, officials raided Fuego Smoke Shop and arrested three persons identified as Md Ashfaq (24), the shop manager, and workers Shehabuddeen (22) and Md Mustafa (36). All three are residents of Nampally and natives of Kasaragod in Kerala.

According to officials, the shop allegedly accepted orders through phone calls and WhatsApp, received payments in cash and digitally, and arranged deliveries to customers through a delivery platform.

A case was registered at Nampally police station under relevant laws. Officials are probing the supply chain, financial transactions and the alleged role of the shop owner. The EAGLE Force said it had raided eight such outlets in the past two months.
