Karan Johar has revisited the making of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil as the Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma-starrer completed 10 years on October 28. Marking the milestone, the filmmaker shared a heartfelt note about the film, describing it as a personal story shaped by his own experiences of love, longing and heartbreak. Johar also acknowledged that the 2016 romantic drama had its flaws and received mixed reactions, particularly for its third act. Despite the criticism, he said he would tell the story in the same way today, standing by its portrayal of unrequited love and emotional vulnerability.
