Will make Hyderabad rival Dubai: CM unveils 2026 global summit

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Thursday, October 29, invited industrialists to invest in the state and extended a ‘personal guarantee’ for all policy decisions, government cooperation and necessary support.
He was addressing the curtain-raiser event for the Invest Telangana Global Summit 2026 in New Delhi. He urged industrialists to take advantage of the security, opportunities and favourable business environment that Telangana offers.
Union Minister for Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal attended as the chief guest. State ministers, public representatives, representatives of foreign diplomatic missions, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) representatives, industrialists and industry leaders also participated.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister made an appeal to investors, saying, “I have a request for investors. Decide on an amount you intend to invest in Telangana and double it. Double the growth rate and profits you expect from that investment as well. Tell me what you need from me to make this happen.”
“I will act as the guardian of your investments,” he said.
The summit will take place at Bharat Future City on December 7, 8 and 9.
The CM reiterated his goal to transform Telangana into a 1 trillion USD economy by 2034 and a 3 trillion USD economy by 2047.
“In line with the goal of Viksit Bharat 2047, we have drawn up the future roadmap, Telangana Rising 2047. If India becomes a 30 trillion USD economy by 2047, Telangana should account for 10 per cent of it. Currently, Telangana contributes 5 per cent of the country’s GDP” he said.
He added that his government aims to make Hyderabad compete with global cities such as New York, London, Tokyo, Seoul and Dubai.
