Recently released American national Stephen Hubbard has described his four-and-a-half years in Russian detention, telling US President Donald Trump that he never fully trusted promises of freedom. Hubbard said he only believed his release was real when prison officials gave him fresh clothes and escorted him towards a waiting vehicle.
