The Election Commission of India (ECI), Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, and Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi have jointly filed a counter-affidavit in the Supreme Court. They rejected allegations by opposition leaders—including Rahul Gandhi—that decisions regarding the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls were unilateral.
