Sensex Trades Flat, Nifty Above 22,600; Shriram Finance, Tata Consumer, HDFC Life Top Laggards

The benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty 50 staged a recovery from the morning lows, but failed to hold the gains. The BSE Sensex was down 17 points or 0.02 per cent at 73,105 at 1 PM. Meanwhile, Nifty 50 index was down 10 points or 0.04 per cent at 22,592. Sectorally, the Nifty Pharma and Healthcare were the top gainers, up more than 1 per cent each, followed by the Nifty Metal. The Nifty PSU Bank and FMCG fell the most. The broader market indices recovered from the morning lows to trade higher.…
