Mahabubnagar: Driven by his admiration for BRS president K Chandrashekhar Rao, a young man from Devarakadra mandal undertook a padayatra to Erravalli and fulfilled his dream of meeting the former Chief Minister.

Chinna Narasimha, a resident of Gurakonda village in Devarakadra mandal, was overjoyed after meeting Chandrashekhar Rao at his Erravalli farmhouse. He covered nearly 200 km on foot.

Narasimha began his padayatra from his native village on October 27, hoping to meet the BRS chief personally and express his desire to see him return as Chief Minister. He also wished to see former BRS MLA Alla Venkateshwar Reddy win the next Assembly election from Devarakadra constituency.

Expressing his admiration for Chandrashekhar Rao, Narasimha said he firmly believed that Telangana could develop only under the former Chief Minister’s leadership. He also wanted to bring several issues affecting farmers to the BRS chief’s attention, particularly the shortages of irrigation water, electricity and urea.

During his journey, former MLA Alla Venkateshwar Reddy met Narasimha on the Hyderabad-Bengaluru National Highway near Balanagar and commended his determination.

Appreciating the young man’s affection for Chandrashekhar Rao, the former MLA said Narasimha’s decision to undertake the journey on foot reflected his admiration for the BRS chief and his desire to see him return to power.

Venkateshwar Reddy claimed that public admiration for Chandrashekhar Rao was growing and that more people were expressing their desire to see him return as Chief Minister.

Incidentally, Kavali Ramchander from Ankella village in Koilkonda mandal of the district also undertook a similar padayatra to express his admiration for the BRS president. Last Sunday, he met the BRS president at his farmhouse.
