Telangana govt likely to advance Inter exams, theory from Feb 24

Hyderabad: The Telangana government is set to bring forward the 2027 Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE), with theory papers likely to begin on Wednesday, February 24.
The practical exams are likely to start earlier, on Monday, February 1, 2027. The post said the practicals for first-year students of the Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry (MPC) and Biology, Physics and Chemistry (BiPC) groups will also be held, which it described as a first.
The Telangana Government Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has not yet released the official timetable. It was expected in the last week of October, and the dates could change once it is notified.
Last year, the board began theory exams on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, with the practicals starting on Monday, February 2.
External practical exams were introduced for first-year students that year, in a change from the earlier system in which only second-year students sat them. In July, the board announced that practicals would be conducted externally for both years.
