All I saw blood, I was paralysed: Teacher narrates chainsaw attack

Hyderabad: The events which transpired at a government school in Andhra Pradesh’s Anantapur on Saturday, October 31, showed how extreme a jilted lover could go when rejected by a girl or a woman.
Following the horrific chainsaw attack in which two students were seriously injured at a government school in Anantapur, Rajarajeswari, a weeping class teacher at the Raptadu Zilla Parishad School, expressed shock over the incident while weeping in front of the media.
Initially, when Rajarajeswari heard the chainsaw, the teacher thought it was from a vehicle used for a legislative council election campaign. “I was clearing some doubts of the students, and heard the sound of the chainsaw before the man entered the class,” she told the media.

Even students were intrigued by the sound and were curious to see what machine it was. “The man entered the class and walked up to the two girls; this is the last thing I remember,” the class teacher added.
She was in a state of shock; she saw students running for safety but couldn’t move for some time. While trying to control her grief, the teacher asked the media personnel to stop the interview.
Asked if she recalls the incident, the teacher choked and said that the accused entered the classroom in a rush, attacked the two students and walked up to another student while she and her classmates ran out of the room.
She doesn’t remember his face and could not identify him.
“All I could see was blood spilt on the floor when I looked down after the students fled.”
Background of the incident
