Clinics On Cloud raises $12.5M to expand microclinic network

Healthtech company Clinics On Cloud has raised $12.5 million in Series A funding from Dubai-based Model42, a health and wellness growth platform powered by Enlightened Minds Investments.

The Pune-based firm said it will use the funding to strengthen its artificial intelligence capabilities, expand research and development, and grow its connected microclinic network. It also plans partnerships with healthcare providers and technology companies to integrate new screening tools and AI applications.

The United Arab Emirates will be its global hub, with planned expansion into Africa, the United States and Southeast Asia.

Founded in 2018, Clinics On Cloud builds technology-enabled healthcare access points. Its Health ATMs are compact screening stations combining connected medical devices, health checks and digital reports, alongside AI-assisted insights and telemedicine. Its portfolio also includes Health Lounges, Box Clinics and Mobile Medical Units for hospitals, workplaces, housing communities and underserved areas.

Founder and chief executive officer Abhay Agarwal said the company had spent eight years guided by the belief that “quality healthcare should never depend on someone’s PIN code”. The investment, he said, would help take that vision overseas, with the opportunity lying in “making these innovations accessible to people, wherever they are”.

Clinics On Cloud claims more than 3,500 deployments, over 12 million health screenings and operations in eight countries. Its systems have been used in government health centres, hospitals, corporate sites, rural communities and Indian defence establishments, including the Army, Navy and Border Security Force.

The funding comes amid a more selective investment climate. Venture Intelligence data showed Indian health-tech startup funding fell to $447 million in 2025 from $707 million in 2024.

However, capital continues to flow into specialised models. In October, preventive-health startup Cent raised $15 million in a Series A led by Blume Ventures and South Park Commons. In July, radiology AI company CARPL.ai secured $10 million in a round led by the International Finance Corporation.

Meanwhile, public digital infrastructure is also expanding. By May 2026, the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission had crossed 90 crore digital health accounts and 100 crore linked health records. Initiatives announced in June, including digital clinic-management tools and common data standards, aim to make health information easier to exchange.
