Actor on an ex-girlfriend who was ready to convert to Islam
Apart from the latest dating buzz, Baseer recently opened up about one of his past relationships and revealed that a former girlfriend was even willing to embrace Islam for him.
In a conversation with Film Window, the actor recalled falling in love with a woman who was not Muslim. However, despite her willingness to convert, he eventually decided to end the relationship because he was concerned about whether she would genuinely be able to follow the faith and its religious obligations.
Recalling their conversation, Baseer said, “That person genuinely said to me, ‘I am ready to do that.'”
He further explained that he did not want her to embrace the religion only for the sake of their relationship, without being fully committed to its beliefs and practices.
