Honda has brought a heavily updated motorcycle lineup to EICMA 2026 led by the Africa Twin, Fireblade and V3R 900 E-Compressor

Honda has brought one of its busiest motorcycle line-ups in years to EICMA 2026 as the company prepares a broad range of 2027 models for Europe. The CRF1150L Africa Twin and CBR1000RR-R Fireblade have both made their world premieres in Milan. Meanwhile, the V3R 900 E-Compressor moves closer to production with an electronically controlled compressor. The company has also shown the Honda RN0, ADV125, CBR500R FOUR, EV OUTLIER Concept and Onitsuka Tiger Honda Mid Sports Concept.

The CRF1150L Africa Twin gets one of the largest overhauls in the group. The series now consists of the Africa Twin, Africa Twin Adventure Sports and new Africa Twin Enduro Sports. Engine displacement has increased, and Honda has also reduced weight across the motorcycle. The fuel tank is split, with part of it positioned beneath the seat to lower the centre of gravity. Meanwhile, the Adventure Sports becomes the first Honda motorcycle to get the new Honda SENSING RIDE rider-assistance system.

The V3R 900 E-Compressor is arguably the more unusual machine at the show. The planned production model uses a V-type three-cylinder engine with what Honda calls the world’s first electronically controlled compressor for a motorcycle. The asymmetric bodywork is paired with a titanium fuel tank, exhaust pipes and muffler. Furthermore, an updated Honda RoadSync system adds a revised interface and AI-powered voice controls.

The CBR1000RR-R Fireblade also gets a major technical overhaul for 2027. Honda says approximately 75 per cent of the motorcycle components are newly designed. The aluminium twin-tube frame and swingarm are both new, while the engine gets a two-stage variable-length intake funnel system for the first time on a mass-production Honda motorcycle. The range now consists of the standard Fireblade, Fireblade SP and new Fireblade HRC Works Edition.

The CBR500R FOUR and ADV125 cover the more accessible end of Honda EICMA display. The CBR500R FOUR brings a four-cylinder engine back into the middleweight sport category and also gets Honda E-Clutch. Meanwhile, the ADV125 uses a 125 cc eSP+ engine and adds a newly developed 5-inch colour TFT. Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity is also part of the ADV125 equipment list.

The RN0 and EV OUTLIER Concept show two very different electric directions. The RN0 is Honda first electric-assist mountain bike and was developed jointly with ROTWILD. The bike gets a carbon monocoque frame, gull-arm swingarm and electronically controlled electric-assist drive unit. Meanwhile, the EV OUTLIER Concept looks much farther ahead. The concept uses in-wheel motors at both ends and previews a low-slung electric motorcycle idea for 2030 and later.

The Onitsuka Tiger Honda Mid Sports Concept adds another distinct theme to the display after its earlier appearance at Milan Fashion Week. The middleweight sport motorcycle gets Tiger Yellow bodywork with bold black graphics and matching wheel accents. The Honda booth will run through November 8, with the redesigned Africa Twin, Fireblade and V3R 900 E-Compressor carrying the strongest production relevance among the machines shown.
