The TVS Apache RTR 125 LC enters Europe’s A1 class through a 125 cc liquid-cooled engine, six-speed gearbox, USD forks and connected TFT console
TVS Motor has entered the European 125 cc performance motorcycle category through the new RTR 125 LC after expanding its international motorcycle line-up over recent years. The motorcycle made its public appearance at EICMA 2026 and primarily targets younger riders plus A1 licence holders. The RTR 125 LC also becomes the smallest performance-focused motorcycle in TVS Motor European range, sitting below machines such as the RTR 310, RR 310, Ronin and RTX 300.
The EICMA motorcycle gets particularly aggressive styling for the 125 cc category. The tall transparent windscreen rises above a compact rectangular headlamp, and the LED daytime running lights extend outward across the lower fascia. Meanwhile, fluorescent yellow panels dominate the front quarter and contrast heavily against the metallic grey tank area. The white hand guards and front mudguard introduce another colour break, and the upright handlebar creates a noticeably taller cockpit than a conventional small-capacity street motorcycle.
The liquid-cooled 125 cc engine gets a four-valve DOHC cylinder head and produces 11 kW, equivalent to 14.9 CV, at 9,000 rpm. Peak torque stands at 12 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The output places the RTR 125 LC directly around the European A1 licence power limit. Meanwhile, a six-speed transmission handles gear changes and an assist-and-slipper clutch reduces lever effort. The specification also indicates electronic fuel injection for the single-cylinder motor.
Specification TVS RTR 125 LC Engine 125 cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 4-valve Maximum Power 11 kW / 14.9 CV at 9,000 rpm Maximum Torque 12 Nm at 7,000 rpm Gearbox 6-speed Clutch Assist-and-slipper clutch Front Suspension 41 mm KYB upside-down fork Rear Suspension Adjustable monoshock Front Brake 300 mm disc, ByBre radial caliper Rear Brake 240 mm disc, ByBre caliper Front Tyre 100/80-17 Rear Tyre 140/70 R17 Instrument Console 5-inch TFT Connectivity Bluetooth Navigation Turn-by-turn navigation Map Function Full-screen map mirroring
The chassis specification is unusually substantial for this displacement class. The front end runs 41 mm KYB upside-down forks, and the rear uses an adjustable monoshock. Furthermore, braking duties come from ByBre components at both ends. The front uses a 300 mm disc plus a radial caliper, and the rear runs a 240 mm disc. The 17-inch wheels carry 100/80 front and 140/70 rear tyres, and the wide rear section is particularly noticeable in the photos.
The side view exposes more of the RTR design treatment. The fuel tank has a heavily sculpted profile and sits above large fluorescent panels carrying RTR 125 LC graphics. Meanwhile, the split seat rises toward the pillion section before meeting a short tail. The rear wheel gets fluorescent detailing across part of the rim plus a TVS Racing script. Bright red ByBre calipers provide another obvious visual contrast against the black chassis and wheels.

The technology specification is equally notable. The RTR 125 LC gets a 5-inch TFT instrument display plus Bluetooth connectivity. The specification sheet also lists turn-by-turn navigation and full-screen map mirroring. Meanwhile, the cockpit photos show the display mounted prominently behind the windscreen. The rear gets twin LED light units plus a separate central lamp below them, creating a distinctive three-part lighting signature when viewed directly from behind.
The RTR 125 LC extends TVS Motor European motorcycle range at its smallest displacement end. The company already plans European availability for the RTX 300 after its EICMA 2025 debut, and the RR 310, RTR 310 and Ronin sit farther up the road-bike line-up. As TVS develops its European business, the RTR 125 LC provides an A1-compliant motorcycle built around the same racing heritage that the company traces back to 1982.
