The special edition Scorpio N One gets a horizontal grille design, wine-red cabin upholstery and unique exterior badges

Mahindra introduced a substantial equipment revision for the Scorpio N in August 2026, and another version has now surfaced in an undisguised dealership-yard video. The black SUV carries Edition One badges, a redesigned grille, and a distinctive wine-red interior. The walkaround provides a detailed look at the exterior and cabin ahead of an official announcement. The exact variant designation and market introduction date are not confirmed.

The cabin is the biggest visual departure from the regular Scorpio N. Dark wine-red upholstery extends over the seats, dashboard sections, and door pads, contrasting against the black upper dashboard and lower interior plastics. The seats have stitched surfaces and perforated centre sections, while metallic trim surrounds the door handles, air vents, and centre console. The second row uses a bench seat, and rear air-conditioning vents sit behind the front centre armrest.

Edition One badges are visible on the rear pillars and front doors. The rear retains the tall vertical LED tail lamps, roof spoiler, rear wiper, and sculpted tailgate of the existing SUV. The black exterior also has bright window surrounds, roof rails, side steps, and dark alloy wheels. Mahindra introduced revised 18-inch diamond-cut wheels on selected Scorpio N variants in August, but the video does not establish a separate wheel specification for Edition One.

The front receives the clearest exterior modification. Multiple horizontal black slats replace the vertical grille elements of the standard Scorpio N, and small rectangular metallic inserts sit between the slats. The Mahindra Twin Peaks emblem occupies the centre of the grille, framed by a bright upper trim section. The angular headlamp housings, LED daytime running lamps, sculpted bonnet, and lower fog-lamp recesses retain their familiar shapes. Silver detailing near the lower bumper completes the revised nose.

The filmed vehicle also has a panoramic sunroof, a large central touchscreen, a multifunction steering wheel, and an automatic gear selector. The August 2026 Scorpio N update introduced a 12.3-inch infotainment display, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and revised cabin controls. Selected top-spec variants also received a 540-degree camera system, Level 2 driver assistance, and a panoramic Skyroof. These technologies already exist in the regular Scorpio N range, so their availability on every Edition One variant cannot be assumed.

The regular Scorpio N uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine and a 2.2-litre turbocharged diesel engine. Both powertrains have six-speed manual and torque-converter automatic transmission options, depending on the variant. Four-wheel drive is available on selected diesel configurations. The automatic selector in the video confirms the transmission type of the particular vehicle, but it does not establish the engine or drivetrain. Mechanical changes specific to Edition One have not been officially announced.

Mahindra already offers the Scorpio N Carbon Edition, which uses black exterior detailing and a dark cabin treatment. The Edition One takes a different visual route, as the wine-red interior contrasts against the black bodywork and metallic exterior trim. The regular Scorpio N currently costs between Rs. 13.69 lakh and Rs. 25.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The price premium, variant availability, and production volume of Edition One will determine its position in the Scorpio N range.
