DevSparks 2026 heads to Delhi to explore agentic AI and the future of software development

As AI changes how software is developed, tested, and deployed, developers are having to learn new tools and adapt to new ways of working. From autonomous coding agents and multi-agent systems to AI-powered infrastructure and cybersecurity, the technologies shaping software development are evolving rapidly.

Against this backdrop, DevSparks 2026, YourStory’s flagship developer summit, will make its Delhi NCR debut on December 5, bringing together developers, startups, enterprises, and Global Capability Centres (GCCs) for a day of technical deep dives, hands-on sessions, and discussions on the future of software development.

Following editions in Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai, the Delhi event will be held at Crowne Plaza, Gurugram. More than 500 developers are expected to attend, with over 15 technology leaders taking the stage and more than 10 deep-dive sessions planned.

Across its four previous editions, DevSparks has brought together more than 27,000 developers, 173 speakers, and 50 partners.

DevSparks 2026 is a nationwide initiative aimed at equipping India's developer community with skills in coding agents, agentic AI, multi-agent orchestrators, AI SDKs, and GenAI tools that can improve productivity. Delhi NCR's strong developer community, startup ecosystem, and growing enterprise and GCC presence make it the natural next stop for the summit.

Delhi NCR's growing technology ecosystem

Delhi NCR is already one of India's leading startup hubs. According to Tracxn’s Delhi NCR Tech Annual Funding Report 2025, tech companies in the region raised $2.9 billion in 2025, with autotech leading the way with $1.4 billion.

Delhi-based tech firms accounted for 51% of all funding raised by tech companies across the region in 2025.

It was also a big year for exits: 19 companies went public, including Lenskart, Physics Wallah, and Pine Labs, while Delhivery bought Ecom Express for $165 million and Everstone Capital acquired Wingify for $200 million.

The Delhi government is taking steps to further strengthen the ecosystem.

The Delhi Start-up and Incubation Policy 2026, approved in July, provides for Rs 400 crore over five years to support incubation infrastructure, mentorship, and incentives for local entrepreneurs.

In October, the Delhi Cabinet also approved the Go-Delhi Foundation, with an initial outlay of Rs 50 crore. The initiative aims to give startups and MSMEs access to product engineering, prototyping and testing facilities.

The government’s draft IT Policy 2026–2031 proposes setting up more than 200 GCCs and training five to six lakh young people by 2031 in areas such as AI, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data analytics.

It also proposes a Delhi State Data Centre, expected to become operational by 2027, and AI computing credits among other incentives.

These initiatives could create more opportunities for developers working in AI, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity, while strengthening the region’s technology ecosystem.

Agentic AI takes centre stage

Agentic AI is becoming an important area of focus for developers and enterprises, and will be a key part of the DevSparks Delhi agenda.

Sessions will explore how to build autonomous agentic systems and develop multi-agent orchestration for coding, workflows, and business operations.

Developers will also examine real-world applications of multimodal AI, including systems that work with text, code, images, video, and speech in production environments.

Building and scaling AI applications

Beyond agentic AI, the summit will examine what it takes to move AI applications from prototypes to production.

Sessions will cover building applications with AI-first frameworks, integrating AI into sectors such as fintech, healthcare, commerce, manufacturing and agritech, and using Edge AI and the Internet of Things (IoT).

The programme will also look at how AI-driven testing can improve developer productivity.

On the infrastructure side, discussions will cover AI-optimised cloud systems, chips, and accelerators, along with multi-cloud, hybrid, and sovereign cloud models for enterprises.

Other areas of focus include data pipelines, governance, cybersecurity threats, and AI-driven defences.

GCCs, skills, and emerging opportunities

With GCCs an important part of Delhi's technology growth plans, DevSparks will also examine how enterprises and GCCs are preparing their workforces for new technologies.

Sessions will look at trends in upskilling, hiring, and workforce readiness as AI becomes increasingly integrated with other technologies.

The discussions will focus on the skills developers need to remain relevant and the opportunities emerging within India’s leading technology enterprises and GCCs.

A day of learning for developers

DevSparks Delhi will offer developers opportunities to learn through technical deep dives, workshops, masterclasses, and real-world case studies.

The sessions are designed to help participants apply AI to practical problems, explore technological advances beyond AI, and identify new career opportunities.

As AI becomes more widely used in software development and enterprise technology, the summit will focus on the tools, skills, and technical knowledge developers need to build and deploy applications.

DevSparks Delhi 2026 will take place on December 5 at Crowne Plaza, Gurugram. Register now to secure your spot.
