Hyderabad: Rajesh Rajan, who runs a social media account advising youngsters about to step into a corporate career and investments, has earned the wrath of Hyderabadis after one of his posts suggested Zaheerabad as a smart career move.

The Instagram post was uploaded on Saturday, November 6, where Ranjan says that young Indians should look for job opportunities in Zaheerabad, the upcoming industrial town located 50 km from Hyderabad in Sangareddy district.

He describes Zaheerabad as a major industrial hub and smart city ready to offer over 2 lakh job opportunities. He mentions the upcoming Hyundai Motors global research and development centre, the Triton Electric lithium battery and EV component manufacturing unit and VM Tech, specialising in precision engineering for the automotive and aerospace sectors.

“Your next focus should be Zaheerabad in Telangana,” Rajesh concludes the video.

Rajesh goes by the Instagram handle rajeshrajan7174 and has over 50,000 followers.

‘No thank you, next’

Although Rajesh’s post was solely for career advice, his comments section is flooded with Hyderabadis frustrated with an overcrowded city, water scarcity and other civic issues. They start blaming migration, especially from North India, as the reason behind their woes.

“Please don’t come here,” with a folded-hands emoji, dominated the comments section.

“Dont come to hyd and make our city crowded and destroy owr city.ask you State govt to provide those in your state,” one user said.

“No no hyderabad is not that great ,so please people from north /east/ west don’t come here.,” another commented.

“North Indians please stay away. Please,” a third person commented.

Other comments included, “Hyderabad is facing a severe drinking water crisis the harsh reality for many residents. In areas like Gachibowli and Manikonda, communities are spending thousands of rupees every week just to buy tanker water, turning a basic necessity into a major financial burden.”

“Useless north don’t come and make trouble. Northerns don’t listen to policies and don’t have common behaviour. We encourage karnataka kerala tamils at least but no northerns. They chew a gutka pan in front of school children and don’t be clean, smoke badly male or females. Worst culture ppl pollute languages. They never respect other states”

“Zaheerabad is a district, and please don’t come to Hyderabad. We are fed up with you guys. As a Hyderabadi, I can’t bear it anymore.”

“WE DONT WANT RUSH FROM ALL CITIES”

“Please say No to other states its already overcrowded 🙏🏼 Don’t come”

“Nakko bhai please nakko India ke youngsters please don’t come hyderabad. 😂😂😂 apne state ko develop karo waha rahe.”

Some comments alleged that the Instagram post was a paid promotion, without directly naming any government or an individual.

“Real estate ku boom ki acting hain ye…pahle zaheerabad sangareddy road banaw bolo cm ku..almost e hours lagre sangareddy janay.from orr exit,” one user said.

“FAKE PROMOTION HYD ALREADY SUFFERING DONT COME AND SUFFER HERE”

“Revanth Reddy making Telangana people beggar now your calling outsider,” another said.
