Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka directed officials to draw up a comprehensive action plan to strengthen the State’s revenue base, focusing on land pooling, regularisation of industrial lands and effective utilisation of government properties.

At a meeting of the Cabinet Sub-Committee on resource mobilisation at the State Secretariat on Friday, Bhatti Vikramarka stressed the need to achieve revenue targets within stipulated timelines through inter-departmental coordination, transparent procedures and efficient use of available resources. Ministers Duddilla Sridhar Babu and Jupally Krishna Rao attended the meeting.

The Deputy Chief Minister asked departments to set weekly targets for processing applications and regularly monitor progress. Officials were told to expedite land regularisation and approvals in industrial areas such as Azamabad, Balanagar and Hafeezpet, including proposals relating to B-category and micro industrial units. Applications from industrialists should be cleared within fixed deadlines, with clear responsibilities assigned to officials.

The meeting also reviewed land pooling opportunities in rapidly developing areas of Medchal and Rangareddy districts to secure land for future government projects and infrastructure.

Bhatti Vikramarka also reviewed the development and auction of lands under HMDA and TGIIC. Officials were asked to identify auction-ready layouts, prioritise plots with road connectivity and prepare a detailed action plan by next week. He asked officials to develop a digital dashboard to track government lands, layouts, auction-ready plots and project progress, enabling better coordination and transparency in resource mobilisation.
